Dan and Isabelle Visit

We had a great time with Isabelle and Dan. She came over for the weekend for the last two weeks and we had fun. one night we made a bonfire in the back yard, played scrabble, taboo, and partied hard... and she helped me with my espanol homework!!

Trip to California July 2009

We had a fabulous time in Lancaster, California at the Leadership Conference of Lancaster Baptist Church. Emily loved staying in the dorm of West Coast Baptist College and meeting many of the faculty and preachers at the conference. We made some great new friends and came home motivated to put lots of new ideas into practice here at York Bible Church!

Rail Trail

What a perfect day we had biking on the Rail Trail with Jon and Ashleigh! We loaded the bikes into our van and drove to the Brillhart Station, mounted up and pedaled 6 miles along the railroad tracks over bridges and along cornfields until we came to a quaint cafe in Seven Valleys. You did a good job keeping up for 12 miles with the girls, Jon!! (click on the picture to make it larger!)

4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July with the Sutter Family!! It was great having Jon, Ashleigh and Joey with us to celebrate. We made a delicious flag cake, Jon grilled burgers and shrimp for our cook-out, then we all went to hear Emily play in the patriotic concert at the York Fairgrounds followed by fireworks and ice cream for all the musicians and their families!! Fun times!!!
